It is a crosslinded cathode electrode using a proprietary technology designed for anion exchange membrane (AEM) electrolysis or other related electrochemical applications. One of the big challenges facing AEM electrolysis is the detachment of catalyst from anion exchange ionomer, causing very high degradation rate. This cathode GDE has been crosslinked just to deal with this problem. The following picture shows the minimal detachment of catalysts from the crosslinked cathode electrode.
