Precision Flatbed Slot-Die Coater FC-200

Precision Flatbed Slot-Die Coater FC-200 is designed for coating the surfaces of sheet substrates using a slot-die coating process. It is primarily intended for laboratory R&D and can operate inside a glovebox. The equipment is used for various types of polymer membrane/films, catalyst layers, adhesives, lithium battery substrates, OLEDs, solar photovoltaic films, and related applications.

Process Description

After entering the coating die, the coating material is pressure-distributed and uniformly discharged through the outlet onto the substrate surface to form the target coating. The coating shape and dimensions are controlled by adjusting the shape and dimensions of the shim. Coating thickness is affected by the feed rate and coating speed. Coating accuracy is influenced by multiple factors, including die accuracy, die adjustment accuracy, coating-platform flatness, movement-speed accuracy, feed accuracy, and coating-material characteristics.
