The Anion Exchange Membrane Water Electrolysis (AEMWE) system integrates an electrolyzer stack, control system, cell voltage monitoring (CVM), Cooling, heating, water tank, circulation pump, and human-machine interface (HMI) into a compact and efficient hydrogen production platform. The system is equipped with a comprehensive set of sensors that continuously monitor key operating parameters, including circulating water temperature, water flow rate, hydrogen pressure, water tank level, electrolyte conductivity, hydrogen leakage, electrolyte leakage, and electrical current. Through real-time data acquisition and intelligent control, these sensors help ensure safe, stable, and reliable operation of the electrolyzer under a wide range of operating conditions.

The system offers low energy consumption, long service life, and reliable, safe operation, making it well suited for both research and industrial hydrogen production applications.

  • Human-Machine Interface (HMI) – An intuitive touchscreen interface provides complete control of system operations, including startup, shutdown, real-time data monitoring, status display, alarm management, and safety functions.
  • Intelligent Process Control – The integrated control software ensures safe and stable operation throughout the water electrolysis process, automatically managing key operating parameters.
  • Comprehensive Safety Protection – Multiple layers of safety features are incorporated, including hydrogen leak detection, automatic shutdown, forced ventilation, and alarm notifications to ensure safe operation at all times.
  • Real-Time Cell Health Monitoring – Online cell voltage monitoring enables continuous assessment of individual electrolyzer cell performance and health, supporting preventive maintenance and maximizing system reliability.
  • Remote Monitoring and SCADA Integration – The system supports remote monitoring, control, and data acquisition. Users can connect the electrolyzer to a cloud database through an internet-connected computer using either an RJ-45 Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi connection. The system also supports integration with SCADA platforms via the Modbus-TCP protocol, enabling real-time remote equipment monitoring and control.

The system is designed for cathode-dry operation, where the KOH electrolyte circulates only through the anode side. This configuration is a key advantage of AEM electrolysis technology, as it simplifies system design and reduces balance-of-plant costs. In addition, cathode-dry operation improves hydrogen purity compared to conventional designs that circulate KOH through both the anode and cathode compartments.

The stacks inside the system are made using the latest AEM components and stack technology including technologies that help minimize the radical attack to the anion exchange membrane, leading to a longer lifetime.

The product comes with 1 year warranty.
