This is a highly specialized electrochemical reaction cell that is designed for in-situ X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy (XAFS) with synchrotron x-rays.

  • Three different styles: Available in single cell, (XAFS-1), dual cell (H-type with interchangeable membranes, with a product code of XAFS-2), and XAFS-3 to study forced gas flow operations.
  • Two-compartment experiments: XAFS-2 electrochemical cell incorporates an H-type construction design with interchangeable membranes, facilitating the separation of the anode and cathode electrodes or compartments.
  • Dedicated inlet and outlet ports: The cell body includes inlet and outlet ports to meet the requirements of different atmospheres and ensure gas tightness for diverse electrochemical reaction conditions.
